What Elemental does

Physical commodity trades are financed against the strength of the borrower, but they perform or fail on the specifics of the transaction: the terms, the counterparties, the cargo and route, the documents, and the market around them. Elemental builds a credit case around the individual trade — assembling the contract and its supporting documents into one reconciled record, testing that evidence, and keeping the resulting view live from origination through to final payment.

Every conclusion Elemental reaches shows its basis. Where the evidence cannot settle a question, Elemental says so rather than producing a confident number. The credit or funding decision always remains with the financing institution.

Two products, one intelligence layer

Elemental Underwriting is the primary product, used by banks and non-bank financiers to build and monitor transaction-level credit cases. Access is by invitation — see underwriter access.

Elemental Trade Assurance is the trader-facing service. It runs over WhatsApp: a trader sends trade terms or a contract and receives a normalized snapshot, a concise read and the points that need confirmation. See Trade Assurance.

The operating company

Elemental Trade Intelligence is operated by Hectar Global Pte Ltd. Hectar Global Pte Ltd is incorporated in Singapore and is the contracting entity for all Elemental Trade Intelligence services, including the Elemental WhatsApp service. Elemental Trade Intelligence is the brand under which Hectar Global Pte Ltd offers these products; it is not a separate legal entity. “Elemental” is used throughout this site as its short form.

Elemental provides intelligence and decision support. It is not a lender, a broker, a trading counterparty or an adviser, and it does not provide legal, financial or investment advice.
